SUSSEX,   CLASS,S   OVER BOOKED , NOW HAVING TO USE LARGER SPORTS HALLS, AS PEOPLE NOW  BOOKING IN LARGE NUMBER , AND WAITING LIST TO GET IN BECOMING LONGER , TRIED THE A FRAME MY SELF, ON FRIDAY AND SUNDAY, GOOD WORK OUT  DID IT WITH A LARGE CLASS LAST NIGHT, HAD TWO ROYAL MARINES AND AN ARMY PTI, IN THE SESSION , EVERY BODY  LOVED THE WORKOUT  , SO WILL DO THE SAME WED PM. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, REGARDS TO YOU AND NICK PS. 
HAVE NUMBER OF LOCAL RUNNERS ATTENDING SESSION
ON A REGULAR BASIS , ALL HAVE INCREASED THE PB ,s  EVEN A MARATHON DISTANCES, WITH OUT DOING VERY LONG DISTANCE TRAINING BUT GET FASTER OVER 15 MILES. INTRESTING ?? ACROSS ALL AGE GROUPS  30,S TO EARLY 60 ,S

The whole purpose of the Metafit workout is to push the body both in terms of muscle fatigue and heart rate to the limit in short bursts. We are trying to mimic that human instinct to ‘run for your life’ every muscle should be exhausted after the session in order for the body to send the post workout recovery into overdrive!

Metafit is not a cardio class, so DO NOT PACE YOURSELF the whole idea is to work to YOUR maximum. The intervals are meant to be flat out and it is meant to hurt, that is the effect we are trying to achieve! 10-15 minutes of high intensisty is plenty of time to achieve a metabolic conditioning effect, but only if you are working flat out! If it feels easy, you aint working hard enough.

Metafit Hits the South West!

Well done to all the guys on the Metafit course in Bristol last weekend at the Esporta health and Fitness club. Another batch of instructors out there changing the way we burn fat through high intensity, whole body workouts.

Some interesting research shown to me at the weekend, was a study that showed that low – medium intensity cardiovascular training actually encouraged the body to store fat! Yes, because they were burning tiny amounts of fat during their walking, jogging etc the body started to store more fat as fuel for these activities. As we know at metafit, 65% of your calories are burnt by your RMR (resting metabolism) so in order to increase this you need to deplete the muscle of glycogen through intense strength and intervals and boost RMR!  not try to burn fat with low-medium level cardio training.

Work Lean muscle= Boost metabolism= FAT BURNING

Metafit success in Scotland

Hi Justin
Just wanted to let you know that our Metafit launch has been a HUGE success, especially at our Glasgow Fort club.  We have 4 classes on per week at the moment and they’re packed out and turning people away.  We have to wait until the new year to put more on but I reckon they’ll be on every night!
It was also to se if you have a venue in Edinburgh for another course?  We have more freelancers wanting to attend so if you let me know when any courses come up north, I’m sure more of our group exercise instructors and personal trainers will be up for it.

I just picked up the flyer in this month’s FitPro it looks great let me know if you are thinking of putting another one out, id be happy to give you a good review!

 

MetaFit has made a massive in pact on the results I get, I now have 3 metafit classes per week that I run the pharmaceutical giant AstraZeneca. Attached is a advert I use in emails, metafit lost Tom Perry 20lb in six weeks and he has now lost 36lb total.

 

Keep up the good work guys, I’m always happy to write a review for a system as good as this!
